If you are not a Member of the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton (RAE), you will not have full access to RAE systems.
However, you may still receive automated emails if your email address is associated with a login request, system notification or security event.

Common emails you may receive
Below is an overview of the most common automated emails sent from the RAE Login system and why you might receive them.
Verification code for MFA (email method)
You may receive this email if email is used as a multi‑factor authentication (MFA) method and a verification code is requested.
This typically occurs when:
- A sign‑in attempt requires additional verification
- Email is selected as an alternate MFA option
Verify your email change
This email is sent when a request is made to change the primary email address associated with an RAE login.
The message is used to confirm that the email change was requested by you. Selecting the link verifies the request and redirects to the RAE Login page.
Change password or forgot password
This email is sent when a password reset or change request is submitted.
It contains a secure link used to reset the password.
IMPORTANT: If you did not request a password change, this may indicate someone attempted to access an account using your email address.
Blocked account notice
An account may be automatically blocked after multiple unsuccessful sign‑in attempts from the same location.
This email notifies the recipient that:
- The account has been temporarily locked
- Action is required to restore access
Password breach alert
This email is sent when the login system detects that a password associated with an email address has appeared in a third‑party data breach.
For security reasons, access may be restricted until the password is changed. This alert is precautionary and helps protect user information.
What to do if you receive an unexpected email
If you receive an RAE login email and:
- You did not request it
- You are not an RAE member
- The activity looks suspicious
