On occasion, you may not be receiving text messages from ShowingTime. There is a setting that may need to be updated as shown below.
NOTE: see further down to verify that your messages are being or are not being received by a specific party. Click here to check the message delivery status details.
Go to your Profile in ShowingTime:
- Paragon > Preferences > ShowingTime Setup
Once logged in to Showing Time, click
This will take you to your profile preferences:
Change the text message length to:
- 'Long/Multi SMS Notification (Additional carrier charges may apply)'.
NOTE: If the setting is 'Abbreviated SMS Notification (One message)' this will send out a link, rather than all the pertinent information. Most carriers block unsolicited links within SMS messages.
Checking Showing Time message details
To check for error messages for your listings.
From Paragon > Maintain Listings
From the specific listing choose "Select an Action"
then "ShowingTime Setup".
This will take you to the listing details page in Showing Time.
Go to the "Listing Activity Report" and scroll down to see the Listing Activity Details.
Click on the "details" word beside the specific showing that you want to check.
If there are errors they will be shown as you can see by the message that we highlighted with a star below:
If you do have any Warning messages, you need to be aware that this means that the other party did NOT receive the message as intended.
