Q. How much land title information is available in Paragon?
A: The RAE is constantly working on this project. We have added Land titles sales history for Edmonton from 2023 to August 2024 and are adding more data as it becomes available.
Q. I sold a property a month ago, and I can still not see the sales title history in Paragon?
A: There are several reasons why the sales title history may be missing:
Once a property has been reported sold on the association's MLS® System, it may take up to several months to appear on the Land Title Data or Spin based on the possession date.
Q. Why is there a discrepancy between the sale price on the association's MLS® System and Land Title information?
A: Please forward your inquiry to technology@therae.com.
Q. I found a Linc number with missing sales transactions. Why is it so?
A: It may happen if a Linc has expired. Usually, a LINC would expire if it falls under any of the following:
- Amendment of legal descriptions
- Plan corrections
- Consolidation of LINC/parcels
- New titles such as Condo plans, Phased condos, subdivision plans, and also Road plans.
If it is not the scenario, please let the RAE staff know by emailing technology@therae.com
Q. Will I be able to search title history for the properties that were not listed for sale on the association's MLS® System?
A: For any property that has tax information available on the system, you will be able to find the title history.
(At this time it only applies to City of Edmonton properties)
