Collaboration Center Buyer Side – Client Search
We are excited to announce new functionality on Collaboration Center for your Buyers. Your buyers can now create their own searches and get auto-notifications. You can choose to turn this on for your buyers on a one-by-one basis or for all of your buyers going forward.
Giving your buyers the ability to search within Collaboration Center, keeps your searches and theirs together under the same system. This helps you to know what they are searching for and if their criteria have changed, keeping you in the loop.
Member Searches vs. Buyers Searches
The search options for your buyers are scaled down to allow for simplicity, whereas the tools in Paragon are for professional agents.
- Your buyers can only create new searches and edit their own saved searches but not the searches you created for them. They can also only search for Active Listings.
- You, the member, can edit both your created search and the buyer search. When editing a buyer search, you will be redirected to the Collaboration Center search. This allows you to edit the search with the same tools and fields available to the buyer.
Between you and your buyer, you can have up to 10 saved searches. So if you already have five saved searches, you or your client can create up to five additional searches.
You will be notified by email when a client creates a new search. The Contact Activity widget on the Paragon Classic Homepage and Paragon Connect dashboard also display client search notifications.
Searching on Collaboration Center
Property Search and Saved Searches are located in the menu in the top left corner on the Collaboration Center site.
The map is displayed by default and the top search bar contains search fields that are common in almost any consumer search. Click More to view additional search fields.
The most important thing to remember when using the search is that the map boundaries are used as part of your search criteria and will be saved to the search.
For more in-depth information and how to turn on search options for your client, watch the Paragon Update video above or read more on the RAE Knowledge Base.
Performance Enhancement
Black Knight made a performance enhancement to Paragon to improve system optimization that we wanted you to be aware of. This change has had a minimal impact on users.
When the default and saved searches are loaded in the search screens, Paragon will no longer display a count by default and will now display a light grey background until a change is made to the search or the user clicks the count button.
Paragon Connect
Multi-Select Integrations available in Paragon Connect
When viewing results on the grid or tile view, you can now select multiple records to use with third-party integration, such as Cloud CMA and ShowingTime ShowingCart. By clicking the overflow menu (the 3 dots), you can now see both System options and third-party integrations! Previously the only option available was Add to Cart.
Accessing your last five (5) searches
Paragon Connect can now access your last five searches. This is synced with Paragon Classic so the five searches you see are from either system. So if you are working on a search on Paragon Classic before meeting with a client, when meeting with them you can pull that search up quickly by viewing your last five searches
The folder icon now opens a drawer and the Load Default Search option has been moved to this location as well.
NOTE: You must view the search results to have a search show as a “last search.”
Texting Option on Detail Report
Paragon Connect today supports texting on a mobile device. You can currently text the listing detail to any of your contacts by clicking the share icon. Now you can also text the listing or selling agent directly from the detail report.
To set up the phone number you want to be texted, set up the number under mobile preferences in Paragon Classic.
If a number is supplied, Paragon Connect will display the texting button on the report.
Pencil Icon added to Paragon Connect
Full listing edit is just around the corner. In Paragon Connect, if you are the first listing agent or broker/manager of the listing office, you can edit photos from any search result. Currently, this option is stored in our (three-dot) overflow menu. However, the time it takes to load these options is excessive due to the number of permission checks and configurations.
The solution is to move the edit options to the detail report and provide a new icon to access these options. This new icon is a pencil and it will host any future listing edit options.
