Comments are a great way for clients to share their thoughts and feedback on listings with you, their agent. Once a comment is added, an automatic email alert is sent to notify you. This guide will explain where and how clients can comment and view their comment history.
How Clients Can Comment on Listings
Clients can easily leave comments on listings using the Comment () icon or quick action links available in various places throughout the site. These include:
- Thumbnail View: The default view showing multiple listings at once.
- Full Detail View: A detailed page showing all the property information.
- Toolbar: Located at the top of the listing details page and home/dashboard.
- Unread Comments Widget: Displays recent comments not yet read by the client.
Adding a Comment
To add a comment, your clients can:
- Tap Comment () and a pop-up window will appear.
- The window shows any previous comments (if applicable) and also has quick action icons to contact you directly via Email () or Phone (). If their device supports it, tapping the Phone () will give them the option to call or text. If not, it will display your contact number.
- If clients want to review more information about a property before commenting, they can click on the listing image to view the full detail page.
- Clients can enter their comments in the text box and press Enter or tap Send ().
New Comments Notifications
Your client will receive a notification when you comment on a listing.
Upon clicking the link in the notification, they’ll see a badge on the Comment () icon in the toolbar and in the Unread Comments widget. Both indicators show only the comments made by you, the agent, and do not display client comments—this section is exclusively for notifying clients of your feedback on listings.
Viewing Comment History
To review Comment History, clients can click Comment History from the Unread Comments widget, the Comment () icon in the toolbar, or access it through the Menu () by selecting .
This section displays the entire comment history for all listings.
- Unread Comments: Bolded listings indicate unread comments.
- Comment: To view a listing's comments, simply click on the comment.
- Full Detail View: To see more details about the property, click the listing's photo.
- Search: Click Search to look for a specific listing by address or listing ID.
- Filter: Click the Filter icon to sort by Unread or Read comments.
