Quick Search Widget
If you are in a hurry, and need to locate a few listings for your clients, the quick search will provide you with quick access to those listings and will still provide you with the same reports as you would have if going through a more comprehensive search.
Quick search is a multi-class search and will give you results from all classes (Residential, Rural, Mobile, Rental and Commercial).
By default, you can search by map, Listing ID #, a specific address or address range, status, area/city, zone and off market date. You can also add or remove fields from the quick search.
Address Searches
There are several ways to search for an address using the Quick Search. The following will walk you through common address searches.
Specific address
Enter the following fields.
A - Address-Suite: Condo Suite #
B - Address-Number: Street # (House #)
C - Street Name: Enter just the Street Name or Street Number (ex. Mayfield or 99)
D - Street Type: Enter just the Street Type (ex. Avenue, Street, Crescent etc.)
E - Post Direction: Is the direction of the street, not the City Quadrant. For example, Millwoods Road E NW. East is the post direction and Northwest is the city quadrant.
Unknown house number
Scenario: Your client just phoned and wants to see a house for sale on Henderson Street but doesn’t know the house #.
- Beside Address-Number, click the dropdown Single and select Multiple.
- You can now enter a minimum Address-Number and a maximum Address-Number. Continuing with the scenario, enter the minimum as 600 and the maximum as 650.
- Click Search to view the result.
Suites on a specific floor of a condo building
The following steps will show you how to search for suites for sale on a specific floor of a condo building. In the example, we will be looking for all suites on the 9th floor of the Illuminada (10028 119 Street NW)
- Beside Address-Suite, click the dropdown Single and select Multiple.
- You can now enter a minimum Address-Suite and a maximum Address-Suite. Continuing with the example, enter the minimum as 900 and the maximum as 999.
- Click Search to view the result.
Rural address
To get the best results searching for a rural address, use only the street name field and type in the full road address, omitting street type or address number.
Since rural addresses can be entered into the system differently, they can be more difficult to search for. If you are not getting the results you expect, try typing in just the number portion of the address - omitting Range, Township, etc.
Customize Quick Search
The quick search can have a maximum of 15 fields not including the map search
- Click the blue gear () to customize.
- Under Available Fields, select the link(s) you want to add and click Add. Or you can double click on the field to move it from one side to the other.
- When you have finished customizing the fields, click Apply.
