Market Monitor Widget

The Market Monitor is an agent-configurable snapshot of current market activity. You can see a visual summary of new listings, price changes, sold and pending listings that have occurred within a certain time period. $C:\Users\singlsh\AppData\Local\Temp\SNAGHTML3411ee67.PNG$

Market Monitor Tabs

There are four tabs on the Market Monitor that display different activity; My Info, Market, Office and Firm.

My Info

My Info displays a summary of your listings.

New: Total number of newly created listings on the listing side.
Active: Total number of active listings on the listing side.
Expire Alert: Total number of listings due to expire on the listing side. NOTE: Days look forward instead of back.
Listings: Total number of listings on both on the selling and listing side.
Sold: Total number of sold listings on the selling and listing side.
Sold w/in 6 Months: Total number of sold listings in the past 6 months on both the selling and listing side.
Pending Listings: Total number of pending listings (including listings you are listing agent 1, 2 or 3)
Open House: Total number of open houses you have scheduled. (Open Houses are for the members of the public. This open house will go to REALTOR.ca)
Tours: Total number of tours you have scheduled. (Tours are for members only. This will only appear on Paragon.)

Market

Market displays a summary of market activity based on the areas that you have selected.
To customize to your specific market region, click here.

New: Total number of new listings.
Price Change: Total number of listings that have changed price.
Sold: Total number of sold listings.
Pending: Total number of pending listings. NOTE: Not affected by days entered.
Open House: Total number of open houses. (Open Houses are for the members of the public. This open house will go to REALTOR.ca)
Tours: Total number of tours. (Tours are for members only. This will only appear on Paragon.)

Office

Office displays a summary of your office.

New: Total number of new listings.
Active: Total number of active listings on the listing side.
Listings: Total number of listings on both on the selling and listing side.
Hot List: Total number of listings that appear on the Hot List for both the selling and listing side. Hot List will include listings that have had a recent change to one of the Hotsheet fields (Price or Status).
Sold: Total number of sold listings.
Sold w/in 6 Months: Total number of sold listings in the past 6 months on both the selling and listing side.
Pending Listings: Total number of pending listings.
Open House: Total number of open houses. (Open Houses are for the members of the public. This open house will go to REALTOR.ca)
Tours: Total number of tours. (Tours are for members only. This will only appear on Paragon.)

Firm

Firm displays a summary of your Firm. Firm is defined by your Broker’s affiliations. Broker has more than one office the combination of all offices will be visible.

New: Total number of new listings.
Listings: Total number of listings on both on the selling and listing side.
Hot List: Total number of listings that appear on the Hot List for both the selling and listing side. Hot List will include listings that have had a recent change to one of the Hotsheet fields (Price or Status).
Sold: Total number of sold listings.
Sold w/in 6 Months: Total number of sold listings in the past 6 months on both the selling and listing side.
Pending Listings: Total number of pending listings.

Results

To view results, click on the bar of the activity you want to see. The results will display on your default spreadsheet view. If you are the first listing agent, the listings will display in red.

Customize the Market Monitor

The Market Monitor by default displays all market activity for the entire MLS^® System but you can customize the Market Monitor to keep you up to date on market activity in certain areas and property types you are interested in.

Click the gear () to customize.
Using the Filters, you can customize by Class, Type, Region, Area/City, Zone and Community. If you leave blank, then it will give you up to date information on every single area and property types in the MLS^® System. $C:\Users\singlsh\AppData\Local\Temp\SNAGHTML33f856c4.PNG$

Note: If you are looking for a specific City, Town, Hamlet etc., start by using the Area/City filter. Places like Sherwood Park and Stony Plain are not available through Region.

Choose how man days back the Market Monitor will display by default. You can choose between zero and seven days.
Once you have customized the Market Monitor, click Save.
