Step 1 - Using the Filters, you can customize by Class, Type, Region, Area/City, Zone and Community. If you leave blank, then it will give you up to date information on every single area and property types in the MLS® System.

Search Options
Allows you to determine how certain search functions will work.
Default Search Criteria
Allows you to determine the Default Class Search Criteria Template will be initially displayed when you first open a specific class search.
Select the checkbox to load your Default Class Search Criteria Template. Unselect the checkbox to load your last search.
Enable Search Results Warning Message
The Search Result Warning Message will alert you if the number of results exceeds the default spreadsheet page size (system default is 250 listings) for results.
Enable Lookup Long Descriptions
When searching, you now have the option to display the long description of lookup values in the search criteria instead of the short description. For example, when searching for the community Belgravia, previously the search criteria would show a short description of 200300. With the option to display long description turned on it will show 200300 - Belgravia. The Search Criteria Page available via Print + and the Criteria Summary report in the Actions Menu were also modified to display long descriptions of lookup values.
This functionality will be disabled by default. Select the checkmark box to display Lookup Long Descriptions. All subsequent searches will display the long description of lookup values.
Custom Map Address
Allows you to start your Map Search centred on an address other than the system default, Edmonton City Hall.
Step 1 - Make sure Use Custom Address for Mapping Search checkbox is selected.
Click the link: Click to Establish Default Address and Zoom Level for Mapping Search.
Step 2 - Enter your office address or another location you want the map to open to. You can use a city, town etc., postal code or an address. Press enter after typing. The map will then place a pin at that location. Drag the pin to the location you want it to be set to.
Step 3 - Click Save once you have placed the pin in the desired location.
Map - Boundary by Default
Once enabled it will apply a filter to limit your search results to only those listings mapped within the defined boundary. Recommended that you leave this checked off as it will permit you to zoom in to a specific area and therefore only display the properties visible in the zoomed in area.
Map - Zoom to Fit
When checked, the Search by Map option in Property Search will zoom out to display all listings in the current results set.
When unchecked, the Search by Map option in Property Search will retain the user’s default zoom level; some listings in the result set may not be visible on the map without zooming out.
Zoom to fit is Enabled will zoom out to show all listing results from the search.
Zoom to fit is disabled will display your default Map Zoom Level. (Note: this may exclude some listings.)
