When sending emails to clients, you may occasionally encounter error messages. This can happen for several reasons, such as the client accidentally clicking on the opt-out option in a Paragon email, previously opting out of all Paragon emails, or their email being bounced back.
Note: Bounce-back emails come from the email provider and are forwarded to you by ICE as a courtesy to inform you of the issue. To resolve this, first, verify that you've entered the client's email address correctly. If the email address is accurate, the client will need to contact their email provider for assistance.
In the meantime, you can opt the client back in and ask them to whitelist Paragon’s email address, email@ParagonMessaging.com. For detailed instructions on how to whitelist an email, refer to our knowledge base article: Not receiving some emails? Add to Whitelist.
How to Identify if Your Client Has Opted Out
If your client has opted out, an opt-out icon will appear next to their email address in the contacts manager.
How to Opt Your Client Back In
To opt your client back in, send them the following link: http://rae.paragonrels.com/CCR/paragonsubscriptions?action=optin.
Below is a sample email template you can send:

Dear [Client Name],
As we discussed, your email has been opted out of receiving emails from Paragon. If you'd like to receive notifications about new or updated listings, please follow the steps below to opt back in:
- Click this link: http://rae.paragonrels.com/CCR/paragonsubscriptions?action=optin.
- Enter your email address when prompted.
- Click the Subscribe button.
- A confirmation message will appear on the screen stating that you will receive a confirmation email, but please note that you are automatically opted in at this point, and no email will be sent.
