Did you know that when you upload your listing to the Association’s MLS® System, it becomes part of the National CREA Data feed that can then be further shared with others, WITH your permission and based on Broker-authorized settings.
Are your listings appearing on sites, that you didn’t want to authorize?
Have you checked YOUR DDF Feeds recently?
As the Broker, the options you can choose for your and your agent’s listings are:
Partner and Real Estate Advertising Websites
The Brokerage Owner must opt in to these websites and select specific ones. The Brokerage Owner can then allow Salespeople to opt out of destinations for listings.
Salespeople with Brokerage permission can distribute listing content to Partner and Real Estate Advertising Websites.
IF opted in, they have the option to have their listing content displayed on sites such as: TD, Scotiabank, Microsoft Bing, Point2Homes, Rentals.ca, Final Offer, etc.
National Shared Pool
Members can share listings in a national pool across Canada. The members’ listings will be displayed on any participating organizations' websites, who would receive a feed of other participant’s listings on their website and vice versa.
Brokerage Owners decide if they want to participate in the NSP.
If Brokerage Owners opt in, then their Salespeople can display listings from the NSP on their website.
National Franchisor Pool
Brokerage Owners can select to put their listings in the National Franchisor Pool (NFP). This sends their listings to Corporate Franchisors to populate their websites, and also display all corporate listings on the brokerage/members site as well.
Franchisor Direct Feed
The Brokerage Owner may select to send their listings to their own Franchisor’s website, and they will only receive listings from their own Franchisees.
Member Website Feeds:
Brokerage Owners decide whether to participate in the Member Website Feeds and whether to allow their Salespeople to create Member Website Feeds to display their own and/or their office listings on their own site.
IMPORTANT:
These feeds are BROKER OPT-IN first.
