If you are inactive for more than 60 days (about two months), or if you change your mobile number, you will need to go through the opt-in process again to receive text message (SMS) notifications from ShowingTime. Learn more about the Opt-In Process and why this now applies here.
If you accidentally deleted the opt-in message or replied Stop and want to start receiving text messages from ShowingTime again, follow the steps below to opt-in again in ShowingTime. You can also text START to 847-865-6549, which is ShowingTime's opt-in number.
- Go to your ShowingTime Profile and make sure you have chosen Mobile Phone for the Phone Type.
- Also make sure a phone number is picked in Select Mobile Number. Learn more about ShowingTime Profile and Settings here.
- Go to the Listing Worksheet, if a number that appears in red indicates that text messages have been stopped.
- To opt-in, double-click the red box surrounding the number to restart receiving text messages to that number.
- On the Alert! pop-up window, click Agree.
- Click the green ‘Save Changes’ button at the top of the listing worksheet page.
Please Note: In some cases, a carrier outage or disruption can also prevent SMS messages. These incidents are outside of ShowingTime's ability to support/troubleshoot. Update your notification settings to receive a back-up email or enable push notifications if you have the mobile app downloaded. Learn more here.
